Delores, a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania and a student of St. Joseph University, School of Business Management, has enjoyed the beautiful town of Avalon since the early 70’s. Thanks to her mother, Delores, not only discovered 7 Mile Beach in the 70’s but also her first business venture in Real Estate. On that first fateful trip to Avalon, Delores and her mother purchased their first investment property in Avalon!!
Enjoying her Avalon vacation home/investment property during the late 1970s, Delores made another wise decision. While visiting the popular Jack’s Place in Avalon one summer night, Delores met a handsome Bouncer from Germantown named Chris Jackson. Chris and Delores married in 1980, moved to Cape May Court House full time, opened Avalon Auto Repair on Ocean Drive and 29th Street in Avalon and raised a family of 2 sons and one daughter. Many of you may remember the Jackson’s running a very successful Avalon business. Delores and her husband look back on that Avalon Auto Repair Shop with fond memories.
28 happy years of marriage later, many successful Jersey Shore Real Estate Investments and business ventures, plus one beautiful granddaughter later, Delores decided to come back to 7 Mile Beach and join The Hugh Merkle Team @ Prudential Fox & Roach Realtors Avalon / Stone Harbor Office.
Delores had actually starting her real estate career in 2003 with another real estate company. Because of her love for customer service and the overall allure of real estate, Delores decided to follow her heart and come back to 7 Mile Beach where her love affair with real estate first began.
