Growing up in South Jersey, Sean Wilson’s summer vacation revolved around Avalon and Stone Harbor. Seven Mile Beach became a special get-a-way for Sean and his family during the summer and Holiday seasons. The Wilson Family has enjoyed the island so much, owning a number of properties throughout the years, that they decided to move down from Cherry Hill permanently. This decision especially works well for the Hugh Merkle Team because they are getting a very valuable “Team Member” in Sean Wilson.
In Sean’s earlier life experiences, he attended Haddonfield High School where he was an outstanding basketball player. As a 1,000 point scorer he currently is the 5th leading scorer in Haddonfield history, quite an accomplishment for a school so rich in basketball. Through Sean’s very successful basketball career, he learned to equate the importance of team work, hard work and attention to details with success and goal achievement. These skills will prove very valuable in the Real Estate business on Seven Mile Beach and as a member of The Hugh Merkle Team @ Prudential Fox & Roach Realtors.
Sean continued his education at the University of Richmond in Virginia, majoring in business. Graduating in 2005, Sean’s degree in business comes with a concentration in marketing that will offer a lot of value to the Hugh Merkle Team’s Marketing Department. Sean also studied for his New Jersey Real Estate Sales license, during his university years, and is now a Licensed New Jersey Realtor. Rounding out his many island experiences, Sean has thoroughly enjoyed meeting many island residences and vacationers while working for the past 2 summers at the Avalon Yacht Club.
The Hugh Merkle Team is very pleased to welcome Sean to our team. Hugh is especially looking forward to, not only having Sean’s business and marketing expertise adding to the quality of his Marketing Department, but also Sean will be working closing with Hugh’s Buyers to help them reach their real estate goals on Seven Mile Beach. Sean enjoys surfing and sailing on his free time as well as watching college sports, especially basketball!!
